Kooky is based in Brighton. Plays Tech House and dabbles in electronic music, electro tech. Has only been DJing a year and a half, after mysteriously recovering from years of Hyperacusis, making listening to music painful. Finally able to see her favourite influences Dom Dolla, John Summit and Gorgon City live. Was taught to DJ in a quick intensive method, by agreeing to taking part in a charity gig for Mind at Brighton Electric back in May 2023. Kooky appears at open deck venues Block Bar, Tiki Hut, The Mesmerist and upstairs at Rybka. Despite being neurodiverse Kooky continues to improve her DJ style. Loves nothing more than seeing people on the dancefloor vibing to her music. Kooky’s aims are to produce her own tracks in the future. @djkooky1
